Special Events









 

 

The American Red Cross of the PA Heartland Chapter holds a number of special events throughout the year to inform, entertain and raise funds to support the mission of the American Red Cross down the street, arcoss the country and around the world.

We are currently working on plans for a charity auction in Clearfield in April, a carnival in DuBois in early June, a golf tournament in St. Marys in late June, and a charity auction in Punxsatuwney in the fall.

We will be looking for businesses to help us sponsor these events and for volunteers to work them.  If you are interested in either, please contact the chapter for more information.

First Bash of Summer Carnival Returns

Here comes the Carnival.  Back by popular demand the First Bash of Summer Carnival will return to the DuBois City Memorial Park on Wednesday, May 30 and will run through Saturday, June 2, 2012.

The rides, the food, the live entertainment on the stage, are all coming back to kick off the summer season with four nights of fun with proceeds going to support the American Red Cross.

Plan now to spend some time shaking off the winter and early spring blues and celebration the coming summer.
